The annual Christmas gift give-away will be held Sunday, December 14 at 11:00am at the Sigur Civic Center, 8245 W. Judge Perez Drive, Chalmette.  All St. Bernard Children, accompanied by a parent or grandparent, from newborns to Age 12 are invited to attend and pick out a toy.  A basket of food will be provided to each family while supplies last.

A TOY VOUCHER IS REQURED FOR EACH CHILD AND THE CHILD MUST BE PRESENT TO ENTER.  IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW IS A NEEDY FAMILY, PLEASE OBTAIN VOUCHERS AT DITTO’S COPY CENTER, 908 W. JUDGE PEREZ DRIVE, CHALMETTE AFTER DEC 2, 2025.  

ALONG WITH THE TOY VOUCHER, A FOOD BASKET VOUCHER CAN ALSO BE OBTAINED IF NEEDED.  ONE FOOD BASKET VOUCHER PER FAMILY WILL BE DISTRIUTED AND CAN ALSO BE OBTAINERD FROM DITTO’S AFTER DEC 2, 2025.  THE FOOD BASKET DISTRIBUTION WILL BE HELD FROM 9AM TO 11AM IN THE AUDITORIUM PARKING LOT. THESE VOUCHERS ARE LIMITED AND WILL BE DISTRIBUTED ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS.

A Knight’s Gift – a give-away of toys and dolls – is sponsored by Knights of Columbus Council #5747 Chalmette with proceeds from the group’s Louisiana Crawfish Fest Foundation along with the Operation Merry Christmas Organization. The distribution in the Sigur Civic Center will include gifts for newborns to children age 12.
